to John Hartmen to collect their shares in the estate of their grandfather, Valentine Wilt,
according to Historical Sketch of the Goodykoontz Families in Virginia and U.S. by Wells Goodykoontz.
According to this source, it is not certain that this John Pflieger is the son of George Frederick
Pflieger or Jacob Pflieger. However, none of the sponsors for this children were from the
family of Jacob, Further, from the family of George Frederick, Jacob and his wife appeared
twice and Maria Margaret, widow of George Frederick once, so the presuptions is made that thei
John Pflieger is the sone of Geroge Frederick Pflieger. Will probated Feb 16, 1819 based on
information from Historical Society of York County source 430 1732 and OC/M-376. General information
from D.A.R. Nos. 127605, 266879 A265 (Darthea Pflager). Orphans Court records and his estate
administration researched by Michael C. Gulden. In Historical Society of York County source 430 3143, reference is made to a John Pflieger marrying Susan Mundorf on May 16, 1813, but no specifics are given as to which John Pflieger it is.
